Respectful Laconic Humour
Speaking as an Australian, I think Steve would be amused by this one. Aussies have a pretty warped sense of humour. The man upstairs took him home early... He will be missed... but never forget the knockaround larakin nature of Australians.
Laugh, and remember how much the man lived - for that's what he'd want his mates all over the world to do!
bloody ledgend
i didnt even feel sad when my great grandfather died but when steve croaked it i felt so bad
i really dont think that , that was a very good tribute to a ledgend
Made me cry.
Sweet tribute. Steve Irwin will be missed greatly....
He was indeed a legend.
Although I didn't always like the stereotype he gave us, Steve Irwin was Australia's national icon. He did so much for wildlife conservation and was a great bloke- a legend of mates. He died one of the most noble deaths there are, and although we learn from his death that mortality is fragile, I am glad he died out there in the wild. It would have been a tragic death if he got sick when he was 80 and passed away, but a knife to the heart... That's a way to go.
Rest in Peace, Steve. You will be remembered. A touching, yet heartlifting tribute.
