Reviews for "StarCraft: The Hunt 2/2"

OMG, you killed him!!!

It's funny actually...so far they all had survived and i slowly began to thing that they were immortal. Then BANG and he dies.
I wanted to point out some...odd parts of your movie too
1) A guy throws a 10-20 kg box. It falls for about 300-400 metres and falls on another guy. Now, a logical outcome would be just a little bloody stain on the floor with a box on it.
2) Hell, these battlecruisers were damn accurate....hitting one point from the orbit must be hard as hell....
3) How the heck is a Zergling as fast as a Vulture???
4) "Aw no, you killed my music gun!" That's not all that should break after a fall like that
5) The tunnel was round...but the Zantaboan looked like it was pressed into a box. His paws weren't moving and there was no dust. Nor did the ground shake when he moved through the tunnel.0_0
6) Tunnel chase. The odd thing is that if you showed that from the front of the Vulture, then the Zantaboan either wasn't visible or was about 400-500 metres away. If you showed then from the side view, then the Zantaboan was practically chewing their engines.

Now don't think I hated that movie...I just have that bad habit of finding any bug/mistake in a movie.
I'd love to see how the heck are they getting out of this one

LogFish responds:

Nicely spotted errors - I was aware of all of that stuff, I just didn't do anything about it for various reasons. The next one I'll be a little more consistant with things which should put a smile on that dial, heh. I hope you enjoy the next one, thanks for pointing out those things - eventhough I myself was aware, if I didn't think anyone else was noticing I wouldn't bother to do anything about that kind of thing ever!

Well...

Like the last reviewer, I have a couple plusses and a couple minuses.
The Plusses:
+Finally, a vulture that doesn't SUCK!
+The Zantaboan can FLY!!
+Dropship turrets! (Did you know dropships had guns in the SC Beta?)
+I don't care what anybody says, I still love the voices.
+Excellent take on Mind Control, the zerg didn't "change color" or anything.
And the minuses:
-Zantaboan looked a little sketchy chasing the three guys in the cave.
-The green marine died :(
-The dark archons didn't really move or turn.
-The very end was a bit rushed (who rescued the yellow guy? How did the dropship survive 5 scourges? Was that even the same ship?)
-The admiral's decision to keep the Zantaboan was a bit spontaneous.
-Why didn't the protoss abandon the terran after the admiral decided to keep the Zantaboan?

However, you still did a great job and I'm a big fan. Keep 'em coming.

LogFish responds:

Heh yea, I felt bad for Vultures - they get a bad wrap, being so useless and all is SC, so I tried to use them as they probably would in actual military situations, as a high-speed scout. I wasn't aware they had guns in the BETA!
I'm not that happy with the end, it does all happen too quick - I ran out of music and didnt' wanna keep going without music because it would've been really anticlimatic.
The Toss didn't leave because they still wanted the Terrans to kill the zantaboan after the battle - they think it'd kick arse too but ody wanted to be more careful and not risk anything bad happening, like what does, heheh.

ROCK ON!

Dude, that space fight scene is one of the BEST Fight scenes i've seen! When the Zanzaboan sprouted wings was almost comical. Where do you come up with this stuff? That thing can fly, burrow, and run like a bat outta hell! Rock On man! Rock On!

LogFish responds:

I stopped short of having it breath fire - but I thought about it!

4th installation, 2 parts, and NICE.

Crazysocks : Please watch the previous episode, Starcraft III : Alliance when the Terran first teamed up with the Protoss. Those Protoss under Odyseum are renegade forces that have left the Order to kill the Zantaboan, and thus they only have a limited amount of ships there (I counted 2 Carriers, an Arbiter and around 4 scouts - correct me if I'm wrong).

I've followed every episode until now, and I really appreciate the hard work you've paid off in drawing out the ships/units, and can't wait for Episode 5. Though... it's a bit sad to see dual-wielding gunner Blair go. :(

Simply Amazing!! Too Bad Green Guy Died...

The fact that you made a new Zerg unit and put it into a fantastic war plot just made this awesome. Though some of the animation looked kinda blocky, I bet it was used to make a 3-D effect. And apparently it did! You need to make a whole trilogy of episodes, I bet you could, too! I'm probably gonna use the Zantaboan in a map when SC2 is made. :)

LogFish responds:

Thanks a lot! Go nuts with the Zantaboan concept, I get a kick out of Googling it and seeing the adaptions (mostly star wars fictions, wacky)
