It's hard to explain why. I guess it's the randomness of it all.
Did you get any inspiration from Head, perhaps? The whole opening the door and seeing the eyeball there reminded me of that movie.

very gory did not make much sense good animation and the way it was done very good very realistic blood and guts the bit where he eats that guy face horrible but the movie was boring did not get into it
