Made me laugh
I am retired Navy;therefore a little bias. I believe this move is atypical of the feelings of most Americans. The thing that most concerns me is that the same people that called me a war monger, baby killer and the like, are the same hypocrites saying we need military action. Don't get me wrong, we need decisive military action without the intervention of the left winged, liberal, socialist democratic party. The taste of freedom is greater for he that wears a uniform and has placed themselves in harms way, than those that have shirked their military commitment and live under the blanket of freedom so provided. I fear that once the military objective is complete the hypocrites will reverse their opinion on these brave soles and again condemn the military actions as over excessive. The Hippie movement wore their feelings on their sleeve, it was not the war in general they disliked, it was the left winged, liberal, socialist democratic party, civilian leadership controlling the military and precluding the military from completing their mission in a timely manner. Their were many Veterans in the "Hippie Movement" and they had a right to speak their opposition; however, the Jane Fonda's of our nation have none. Constitutionally they have the right to speak but until they pick up a weapon and walk a post, they need to keep their mouths and pens silent.
