Before you decide to make any fighting movie consider this, MAKE CUSTOM FIGHTING SPRITES FIRST! Next, put backgrounds, then you could use pipe sprites (If that's what that monstrosity was.) For some more advice, DON'T MIX GAME SPRITES! It looks terrible when you use sprites from two different games, maybe the SMB All-Stars Luigi would have looked better since the sprites would match. If you called this decent I'd love to see your shitty flashes.

no offense, not the best i've seen. the sprites were to damn small, animation was laughable, and what was the deal with extreme close on Luigi? the tune was kickin' though

Confusing
I kind of like your idea of a Mario Kombat concept, but this had poor execution. The sprite animation could improve, and the screen should have been smaller. Also, there should have been a background, and some sound effects should do. I hated that you used the same sprite over and over again, and how it was pretty dull.
The ending was highly disappointing, the zoom-up was completely unnecessary and it was confusing to how Luigi won the fight.
There could have been a plot to how they were fighting, and there could have been more action. You could have added in more characters and make it fit the Mortal Kombat theme.
