..Where's the ground? The only thing there is two Mario sprites jumping around. No sky, no grass, nothing.

It's kinda of bad, but maybe if you had the characters move their limbs and added a background and maybe a cliffhanger at the end instead, I think it would be much better. Good Luck ^_^
