Lot of bugs

Waaaayyy too many bugs. Why the hell did you HAVE to do the extra things, like targets and floating island. (floating island sucked). You got KO'd way too easily. Like if someone had a fan and hit me like twice then hit me without it I'd be dead. Ridiculous. When you moved, you'd stretch across the stage and when you turned the other direction to run while being stretched across, it'd be too late and you'd have fallen off the stage. It kinda pissed me off too, because I'd get really far in the game, then BOOM. I'm dead by falling off the stage. It was O.K. overall, and I know it took a lot of work, but next time try not to have so many bugs.

Great idea, but it still needs some work.

First things first. As the summary says, you've got a great concept on your hands. I mean, a free Flash version of Super Smash Bros. with nearly two dozen characters from games like Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Final Fantasy to unlock? Sign me up!

That said, this game is not without its faults. The biggest problem I have with it is the way the characters always feel like they're running on ice. When you start moving, the characters seem to be slipping in place before going anywhere, and when you stop or change direction they slide a little bit in the direction in which you had been moving. This would be okay if they were fighting in an arena straight out of, say, World 6 in Super Mario 3 (Ice Land), but this is how it always is. It's pretty annoying, to say the least. Oh, and jumping feels a bit too slow, too.

Some of the characters -- both unlockable and default -- leave a bit to be desired as well. I'm cool with unlocking the likes of Cloud, Crono, and Inuyasha, for instance. But Young Link (is there a difference between him and normal Link? I must have missed it), Naruto, and Mr. Incredible? Not too sure about that. Also, the two original Sonic characters -- Blade and Blue -- are pretty much the same thing. They're both hedgehogs with swords and they do the same moves, only one is red and one is blue. If you do another one, have us unlock some other Final Fantasy characters or Bowser or Donkey Kong. Or how about some Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat characters, or the guys from Double Dragon? That would be pretty cool.

Another problem I have with this game is that it's just too easy at times. You can set your character to any number of lives you want from 1 to 5, but your opponents (except the Kirby and Random Melee stages in Classic Mode and Zelda in Adventure mode) only have one. This leads to WAY too many fights that end in less than 10 seconds. Hell, I've had some fights that were shorter than 5 seconds.

But enough griping -- now for the good stuff. The unlockable stuff is perhaps the best part of the game. This game has a LOT of stuff to unlock, which gives it a lot more replay value than your typical Flash game. The graphics look really good, and the music is quite catchy and suits the accompanying stages. For the most part, the controls and animation are pretty solid too (although I have experienced the occasional slowdown, but that's probably just my computer). The control scheme took some getting used to, but I was able to get used to it. And yeah, there's the obvious fanboy appeal of pitting Mario against Sonic, or Samus against Mega Man, or Pikachu against anyone who can kick Pikachu's ass. Oh, and of course I personally found the game pretty fun to play as well.

it could be better

you need to add combos I mean there is only like 3 attacks and it need to damage them not send them flying and special moves two and that is all you need

Overly Changed

Pros: The game had a variety of characters and stages with nice attack animations and works great as a party game. The sprites were nicley picked as well.

Cons: The 1P mode was shallow in gameplay. Some of the minigames in classic mode were nearly impossible, and with so few
attack moves, it is hard to get much replay value. Many things were switched that didn't need to be, such as the voice of a bratty girl switched for a man as the announcer.

Overall, there is a lot of thing for a flash game. But it is just not the same as the real one.

this cool and all but..

the controls r just so slippery cuz of the slipperyness i can only use c.falcon since his atk p+ right or left arrow key is falcon kick and stuff so anyway how do u unlock characters?
