I't s a start, but it isn't finished yet
I'm sorry, I really am. I tried really hard to love this flash game, especially since so many other people think it can do no wrong, but it just isn't that great of a game. It's based off of one of the best multiplayer games ever, but the game it's based off of shows exactly where this game fails: limited attacks.
Unfortunately, there were very, very few actual attacks for every character. Some characters, (like Megaman for instance), had no depth as a playable character. All of the levels felt boring and uninspired, possibly because the jumping physics were so difficult to understand. Sometimes you could be shot into oblivion and literally fly back to the center of the screen with a jump. The damage was completely arbitrary to include since half the time you you could do 70% or more with one attack, yet another would only do 5%, if even that. You couldn't blast someone with 300% damage any further than someone with 30% either, or if you could I couldn't tell the difference.
There is a good concept here but it just doesn't flow well. The source material became successful because it was able to flow smoothly, this game just doesn't have that charm. Please take some time to look at what you've accomplished and give yourself a pat on the back for creating a really good flash, then realize that it has a long way to go to become the game that it's based off of.
