Not bad but...

This game is quite glitchy. For example, if you die in level 1, you win for some reason, and the movements are hard to do because of the glitchyness. Also, just a suggestion pal, but maybe you should add more combat features "^^ Thanks

You shouldn't win after dying on Level 1, I tested that like 50 times. Try reloading it and play again. My next game of any kind will surelt be glitch free, however this one was extremely complicated so you will have to wait a while for the next version of this.

Good for a Flash...

OK, first of all, props for doing something like this. Not many people have the guts to make a tribute to the greatest fighting game in history and even fewer have the skills necessary to come even close to what you've submitted. You did a great job for a Flash game, but as a Smash tribute, I can't feel satisfied. I understand that you have limited resources but still, making something like this sets yourself up for comparisons with the original. It's like being assigned to make Starcraft 2.
But not only that, as a Flash fighting game, it's only above average. The main problem is the lack of control and combos. It's hard to control your character and suicidal deaths occur often, forcing you to play defense. There's a problem when the best strategy is "push your opponent off the edge and spam projectiles, then use the up attack when your character jumps back onto the stage, pretty much guaranteeing a KO."

So...my suggestions are have more options (shield, roll, more attacks, grabs, grabbing the ledge) and (especially) tighter controls.

Oh, and I took a few points off for not including Ness and having Naruto characters :P.

Too many flaws to be enjoyable.

It felt like I was running on ice all the time. The jumping and damage detection is unpredictable. For instance, the bees in Sonic's Race to the finish sometimes deal some 20% while sometimes get you in the 200% in seconds for no reasons. While double jumping is sucky, the fight sometimes got interesting. The attacks are also unpredictable, sometimes with Sonic I would just throw myself off the stage with the rolling attack. Bot's were ok, but they were only running around spamming the same attack over and over again. Nice effort, but more polishing is needed :D

I think this game is really good. IF, you are not so good. The game is a really great idea and has it all. Character selection, map selection, game mod selection. But, there is to many small things in the game that makes it bad. Ill give u some examples.
1. When u move to the right or left, and press the opposit direction the charcters skipps to be a nice-moving turn. the sprite Leeps a short distance to the whay you pressed.
2. The sprite animations on each frame are not... hmm... together. well if you look at masterhand. He looks like he moves 3 maybe 4 cm on the screen then leeps back to his 1 frame with is where u putted it on the first time.
3. The movement. that is the major problem i belive. the running speed decreces when u gethitted but your "flying-getting knocked down" speed is still at maximum. so it is impossible to jump back if the other player jumps after u and just strikes you one more time.

( I am not a great game maker. But i am a great game player. So all i did was giving you some advices, from a gamer )
Yes, and don't think that i am saying this to piss you all of. All this work you have done on this and so on. No. I am saying this in a hope that you might change it and come with a better Super Smash Flash 2.

Good game for a 16 year-old

I'm young and I would have no idea how to use flash. Anyways, if you're thinking of making a sequel, here's some suggestions:
1.Take out the Floating Islands level,it was long and too much of a pain.
2.You could try to make jumping a bit smoother.
3.Put more buttons to attack
4.Make the Master Hand and Crazy Hand boss easier,sometimes you're dead at only 56% when he crushes you and you go down.
