If anyone wants a character...
Too bad! If you want a character now, you have to animate the whole thing, from their idle animation to their final smash! All the characters that will be in SSF2 are already confirmed, so there's probably not gonna be anyone else except the expansion characters. Also... Godzilla? Seriously? No, just no. Anyway... mcleodgaming.com. GO NOW and play as Sora, Ichigo, Naruto, Mario, Kirby, Link, and Sonic... on a LOT of stages. O yah n megaman. Oh yeah, and this game sucks. Can't believe one idiot actually said they'd like this one better even when the sequel was out... THE SEQUEL ACTUALLY HAS SPECIAL MOVES AND NEUTRAL MOVES, unlike this one.

The controls are poor,some characters look like idiots,and the balance is bad when you get knocked out!!
I fall through the floating island level! You can't even stand on them, YOU FALL RIGHT THROUGH!
I don't care if you guys are nostalgic for this game. I always hated playing this barely playable game even when I was a child with these atrocious physics and multiplayer not equipped for actual multiplayer.
Giving this half a star because it led to SSF2 becoming a thing but honestly while that game is actually good, it does have its fair share of issues (namely the classic mode and glitched life system giving you game overs in the bonus games for some reason). Also stop being overprotective over the SSF2 sprites for no real reason guys c'mon, it's not good to be that restrictive on who can use it outside of a non-profit fangame.
