good but.....
there where a few flaws like the worst AI i've ever seen and the race to the finish levels. But great for a first time.

Poor execution of an unoriginal idea.
I was expecting something good after all those menus but...
The physics and hitTesting was horrible, and the camera following all that horrible physics is nauseating.
Hitting enemies and being hit by enemies from a mile away (without using a longrange attack) is just pathetic.
I like the simplified controls but you should allow players to map it to whichever keys they like....playing with O and P is fine for a 2 player game i guess but i wanna use A and S on my own (how many people actually play flash games with other people?).
Oh and the voice actor doing the announcing sucks.
Nice idea, but....
It was a good idea and you probably put a lot of work into it, but I think you could have done a lot better. The controls could have been better or at least user modified. I had to cross my arms just to play correctly. The sprites and the character selection were pretty neat. The damage was done horribly. Some characters were incredibly easy to fight with. (Knuckles, for instance, had a move that took 150% damage when he hits his opponents with a rock, while I noticed that other characters, like Link, only had weak moves to dish out) It could have been more "Smash Bros" realistic.
The characters skid around too easily and at times it was hard to stay on the level lol. Overall it was a pretty neat flash. I'd like to see more of your work. BTW, is Blade one of your characters or is he an actual sonic character?
okay i guess...
well its okay... but... the controls were bad, some of the characters werent good at all (such as link even though hes the best in gamecube[my opinion]) its very very laggy, the jumps were bad, you did good with sonic but when i tryed link it was awfull, also its almost impossible to kill fox... i mean i got him to like 500% and he kept flying back with whatever he does... now im not saying i hyted the game but it could use alot of work(ALOT of work)

Could be better...gotta work on the attacks and stuff... O & P just dont cut it...some more sprite anumations would be good to...I'm not dissing the game I'm just saying it needs a little more work
and to the people bitching at Spike did he say SSB on the internet...uh...HOLY SHIT no he didn't he meant the real ones...So instead of sitting there stroking your e-peen like your super fucking smart think for a second...Me? I'm gonna go stroke my e-peen
