About time!!!

Ive been waiting for a super smash bros. flash game for ever!!!!!!Awsome game. worth the wait.

Great idea, very pretty, but not fun.

I really like the idea you've got here. A 2D SSB could be brilliant if done well. Unfortunately, this version has tons of gameplay problems.

The graphics were fine. I liked your choice of sprites. The stages were okay. The menus were incredible and contributed to a brilliant presentation, my favorite thing about this flash. I liked the announcer, despite what I've seen in some other reviews.

The first problem I have is with the controls - O and P are very bad choices for buttons. They force the player to hold their hand above the keyboard, which is uncomfortable. Z and X or even Ctrl and Alt would have been better choices, and this is an easy fix.

I was a little disappointed that there was only one attack button, but that's not really a problem. The problem is that many of the attacks are poorly executed. I found Samus's up-attack nearly useless and found the most effective strategy to be rolling into the enemy repeatedly.

Aerial control is too floaty and jumps are too effective. Damage can rack up too quickly; there should be some brief invincibilty intervals. There's never a feeling of actually connecting with your opponent when attacking - often the attacks will go straight through a character. The combat needs some work.

The arena design is mostly pretty good, but "Race to the finish" and "Target test" are poorly designed. They're just monotonous jumping with no variety, and race to the finish was far too long. The floating islands stage had the same problem.

I was amazed by how well this game did some things - again, the menus were great. Some characters' animations were nice and fluid (Sonic), and effects like the KO burst were done well - but I didn't have much fun with this game, and couldn't bring myself to keep playing. Physics, attacks, controls, and level design need to be improved.

WAY BETTER THEN THE GAMCUBE ONE!

lol im just kidding about that but its pretty darn good and the target test are kinda hard but still an awsome game ^_^
