Reviews for "Super Smash Flash"
Well, nice idea but...
For those of you who haven't played the real game, this is like a very glicthy and sprite-graphic version of SSBM. I like how you attempted to make a sprite version of a great game, but it has A LOT of glitchs, I cried in frustration trying to get through the floating islands stage, and the damage ratio is WAY too high. Also it doesn't haven't any other new features then new characters. All in all: Good effort but it still could use some patchs, and I mean BIG patchs.

For all the whinny little snot pickers, this is better than most of the other "games" on here. You try doing a better version of SSB w/ flash before you go judging someone else's like you are king of the world or something.
With that said, I like to say that this was really good. Sure, it has it's defects, but the overall presentation is really quite amazing. Good character selection and it really does feel like a Smash Bros. game.
It just needs to be fine-tuned a bit. Some attacks do way too much damage and any little thing can send you flying afterwards. However, the good out weights the bad so I'll like to congratulate you on a job well done!! Can't wait to see what you can do w/ more practice.

first off.. wtf!? to the guy several comments in front of me. "im giveing it a 0 just because i couldnt pick a charactor and play it-" YES!! that makes so much sense!! Give the game a 0 because of your own incompetance. Awesome, it's good to see that there is some hope for the future...
For those of us with half a brain that were able to make it past the character selection screen, there was a decent treat. Of course it's not nearly as good as the real thing, but it's pretty good for a flash/sprite knockoff.
I do have a few beefs though. Like sometimes when the cpu would hit me, they'd sort of stick there, and I'd rack up 144% damage from a single hit. Then the next hit would send me flying which was a might bit annoying. Also, it'd be nice if there were an option to throw all items, even bats/light sabers/etc. A few more moves would be nice too, but i can see how that's difficult to pull off with limited controls.
All in all, not bad, but not outstanding. Just a pretty fun game.
