Awesome, but some irritating flaws
Okay...first off, I'm not bashing the game. I think it's one of the best Flash games I've ever played, and I've played a few.
In fact, I'll start off with the good points.
1: It's a faithful reproduction of SSBM as a whole, including most attacks and it also includes stats such as speed, etc. as far as I've seen.
2: It's got decent 1-player modes, and unlockable characters which you have to work on to unlock.
3: The additions of anime characters like InuYasha and 3rd-party characters such as Cloud or Sonic, and even the fan characters (take THAT, Spike02!) make it a varied game so you have to learn to play with other characters as well.
Okay, and now some not-so-good points...
1: The animation is a bit slippery, though I guess that's the best that can be done without, as Rirnef said, '1337 f1a5h 5k1ll5' ...
2: Master Hand was a bit of a pushover, to tell the truth...
3: Aaand, damage is racked up really quite quickly, and knockback seems to go from a couple of inches to 250 feet in a matter of seconds.
4: And now we reach my main irk: Adventure Mode.
It may be because I am a total n00b at the game, but still, it annoys me greatly...
The Floating Islands.
Oh dear.
I don't understand how I can't do it. I reach a certain point, I kill a couple of flying thingies, and I get hit by one back down to the bottom. I got past that once and failed all five times to Race to the Finish. The flying enemies trap you and you get you up to around 130%, then you get sent flying off in some random direction and die.
Now, I have a feeling people are going to say I just suck at the game, not read it due to the huge amount of text, etc, etc...so yeah. Whatever.
So, to put it simply, it's a great game, great premise, great characters, but some minor annoyances build up into an angry user.
But I'm giving this 7/10 because, if those little flaws were fixed, it would be perfect.
