One of the best flash games on Newgrounds
This game rocks! I play it almost every day, it must've taken forever to make considering it's so great and well put together. I hope SSF2 is even better!

This game is great.
This game is easy and fun, but there are a few glitches. It is a lot like Melee and nice for a first game.

you should put in ssomefinal smashes except pikachu that thunder thing that falls from da sky is good for his final smash
It seems to lack something...
In fact more like a lot of things that would have been to make this game feel like the real thing.
Like for example: the controls feel kind of floaty and there isn't much actions to do like maybe have the whole one button for standard attacks, one for specials, and one for grappling (though technically I guess it probably isn't possible to make a script in which to make a sprite grab the other for throws but maybe); also have some kind of input for smash attacks. Second, along with specials, you haven't included a characters recovery move (or ^B-like specials).
Another thing is some of the characters don't seem to act like what they should possess like mostly Kirby. Why would his standard attack be turning into Metakight when he should have his signature swallowing ability (perhaps that would be too complex due to your experience back then) and maybe made Metaknight a separate character?
Few more things that I want to question, is that why did you include that custom MegaMan-traced Mario in the game? Because seriously I don't understand why some people (not just you but others) would use that sprite of Mario if you would have just used the SNES Mario from SMW to begin with (also with Luigi). And lastly, Naruto and Inuyasha? They're anime characters not video game characters... so ehh? Also since when does fan made characters count like Blade and Blue?
Overall I think the game would have had some potential but maybe if it were to have been worked on a little more and fixing the bugs out of it, then maybe then this game would had the feeling of playing a 2-D Super Smash Bros. game.
