I enjoy this game because it's a Flash version of a very fun fighting game series but the controls are not so good and should have been improved.

I don't care if you guys are nostalgic for this game. I always hated playing this barely playable game even when I was a child with these atrocious physics and multiplayer not equipped for actual multiplayer.
Giving this half a star because it led to SSF2 becoming a thing but honestly while that game is actually good, it does have its fair share of issues (namely the classic mode and glitched life system giving you game overs in the bonus games for some reason). Also stop being overprotective over the SSF2 sprites for no real reason guys c'mon, it's not good to be that restrictive on who can use it outside of a non-profit fangame.
While nowadays this game is kind of rough, for when it was made and it being a solo project and being young and stuff, this game is good. Sure are some of the characters super broken for no reason? sure, are some of the platforming stages in classic mode complete shitshows when it comes to enemy spam? sure, can it be really repetitive sometimes? ye sure, but for being an 2006 game, it's pretty good. I had fond memories of using cheats to get all the characters because of a flash level skip thing and it was pretty useful and generally I remember playing the game a lot, so I can't really be angry at it(even if the classic mode platforming stages can be annoying as hell),so ye.
