How quack-tastic
A very well written script. The story is very interesting, I wonder where the mario story will go considering that he is still being placed in games. For a moment there I thought it was going to be a story about "Launchpad McQuack" (from duck tales and darkwing duck), though it wasnt and this story is excellent I cant keep but thinking of the origins of Launchpad McQuack. Thanks for the excellent flash.
I am guessing he will be in duck hunt.
I just want to put this before it finishes. I think it is great so far. But I just want to make sure he doesn't end up beign duck hunt. But it would still be funny if it is.

This is a fantastic set-up to a series. I'm impressed with the original premise and attention to detail in respect of the character. The artwork was pretty awesome, although there were a few things I noticed. Nothing major, nor worthy or mentioning. It's obvious alot of effort and planning went into the animation. Well done.
My only problem was the sound. The voice acting wasn't the quality it should have been for such a well animated segment. Throwback seemed to not have alot of emotion, and it almost sounded as though the actor playing him was nervous while recording the dialouge. This is the only problem worth addressing in my opinion.

I haven't seen such an original series in a long time. This is it! The voice acting was great, along with the 80's music, the backgrounds, the character designs, and the writing. Good luck on your next installment!
A thing of true beauty
Honestly this is one of the best flash vids I've seen in ages. Probably even the best.
Graphics: 10/10 - It was beautiful, words do not begin to describe.
Style: 10/10 - Once again, wouldn't change a thing here. You've got a good thing going with the narrative style of the story telling.
Sound: 9/10 - Crisp, clean, clear and pristine sound. The only reason I'm only giving it a 9 is because in my opinion the narrator's voice doesn't quite seem to fit the character.
Violence: 5/10 - Not exactly a violent video but... I kinda feel bed for Kirby.
Interactivity: 8/10 - Love the scene selection feature, however only an 8 out of 10 for the lack of certain video playback features. I dunno if anyone else was in the middle of something or trying to listen to someone talking to you while it was playing, but the vid could certainly benefit from a pause button.
Humor: Not everything's about humor. Although it did have some good humor it's really trying to tell a story. And if you tell a story well enough you don't need useless humor to sugar-coat it.
