Such an amazing flash, yet no reward...
~The good~
Pretty much everything about this was pure awesomeness. The animation was just flawless, so smooth and rich, and the motion tween was just excellent, it ran as smooth as in FbF. The voices were excellently done, from the very clear voice of the narrator, to the cute voice of young Throwback the Duck, they were perfect. The thing that really blew me away, though, was the story, which I found myself enjoying of so much, all of the way through. It actually made me laugh, and made me feel quite sad at a couple of points. Another good thing was the size, a good 10 minutes for sure, right?
~The bad~
Very little I can say about this flash, I really don't think there are any bad points about this, maybe a little happier storyline, and make it a little less obvious, because everyone knows that something is going to go wrong for the main character, like losing in the mascot tournament and getting fired from the job he loves.
Overall, just an awesome flash, that I was awed from while watching, and even more awed that this didn't win a single award. Kind of curious of how low the score was when it came out of under judjement, as this flash could be on the top 50 as of right now... Still, I hope this review was helpful, and I cannot wait to see more work from you in the future!
5/5
Oooooh I like this.
THis is shaping up to be a really realyl interesting series.
Not only does it delve into teh world of Gaming history (realty) but it also bends it around surrealistic in an inventive and very watchable way.
Sort of reminds me of "Duckman" or "Samnmax".
The scene where throwback gets fired is a laugh and so to is the idea of working on the side. I know I'd be knocked out if I got a NES cartridge headshot.
I was kinda confused with the mascot chosing scene as well.
I was thinking through that that he'd get shot in duck hunt then the dog would hold him and laugh.
Either way great work on this one so far I'm defintely looking out for the next one.
You have no idea
First off i just wanted to tip my hat to ya on such a great job on everything. And secondly i just wanted to say that you have no idea how excited i am about this series. (here comes the hate) i've been a long time fan-boy of nintendo. one of the very few surviving out there today. i've been with nintendo as far as i can imagine. and to see someone make great serious yet funny animation on some of my favorite, most believed characters. is something that i can't wait for. i'm guessing that was your intention in the first place. also i loved the song near the end when he was on the bike. really fit the mood.
well i'll be keeping an eye out for more this fall it looks like. and thank you for making one nerdy fan-boy happy.
freaking cool
Wow awesome dude, u are a great artist! ^^, Ill be waiting the next one :D:D:D:D
