Glad you're improving

I've seen a lot worse, to be perfectly honest. There is little animation style, as the presentation is more of a slideshow (needs a forward button, I got bored waitng for it to flick to the next page) than anything.

The drawing is better than I could do, but that does not say very much. You need more practice with that and evein though you will reach EGSC soon, I fear your artistic skill will not progress enough to allow you to do that achievement justice.

Hopefully part three will have buttons. It's difficult to decide what's too short a wait, and what's too long a wait, b/c people read at different speeds...as well as if I should attempt any synching with music or not...so yeah, that is my goal for part three: LEARN HOW TO MAKE BUTTONS! :-D

lol, yes, my drawing "skill" isn't that good. But hey, after years of using MS Paint, I've finally become just as comfortable drawing in Flash, and I think my Flash-made Slash looks a lot better than MS Paint-made Slash, lol.

When I reach EGSC, something terrible will happen. The story will hopefully make up for my...limited graphics skill.

Animation is extremely difficult for me. I tried to make "true" animation in my current flash project for Clock Day, but...I just ain't ready for it yet. In this series, I've just used text/pictures so far, and in others I've used tweens, lol.

When you work with flash, you get a huge respect for anyone who animates well. A lot of people who haven't used flash have no idea how much practice and effort goes into even the most simple flashes. I have no idea how people like ZekeySpaceyLizard pump out such beautiful flash...

I will never be a Zekey, lol, but I am getting better, and will continue to do so! Thanks for the review! ^_^

This is a BIG improvement over Slash Returns (which I honestly did NOT expect to pass), although it still passed with around a 1.80. But hey, Slash Returns passed with like, a 1.7, so I AM getting better, hehe.

level up flash?

Well a whole flash based on the fact that someone ranked up.
Interesting concept to say the least.
I think the animation needs works, a lot of work actually.
Has an interesting story, but lcks other aspects.
The drawing isn't the best either, I would work on that as well.
Work on it some more.

Indeed, I ranked up to Elite Guard Lieutenant General, one of the top 100 highest-ranked members of Newgrounds. I only have two more ranks to go, so I thought, hey, I'll make THAT the topic for episode two.

Yes, yes, lol, I know my animation sucks. But I've begun to make all my drawings in flash instead of MS Paint, so trust me, lol, what you saw was a big improvement.

My style is to use an interesting story/humor/music to compensate for my...lack of artistic prowess, hehe.

I'll get better, I promise. Slowly, but surely. I might never be a David Firth, or an Adam Phillips, but I will be better.
