Mediocre at best
It was like watching someone play the new supermario bros game, only with pixelated sprites instead of polygonal models like in the actual game. The animation job was poorly done too. Normally with sprites, you need to be really good at tweening to make something look good. And you normally do. There was only 1 part that looked good, the close up of the koopa. Vector drawn. It was nice. But the mechanics of mario moving didn't match the game quite right. Mario's jump heights would frequently change size and get larger even when he's not running (like the final jump before the flag), you'd need to run to get on that block. There seemed to be too much gravity in the movie too, he jumped and fell too fast. Plus, you had an 8-bit toad in the beginning which didnt fit the new game.
So apart from the poor animation, what about the rest of the movie? It had no story, it was like watching someone play the game. If i want to see this, I'd play the game. I have it right here next to me. The humor in it, a fart joke. A fart joke. Fart jokes are not that clever. It could have used a little more cleverly written humor rather than a quick and unsatisfying fart joke.
But you did show what you can draw yourself in that short half-second close up of a koopa. Good for you. A half second is not enough to raise your score though.
I think it'd be best if you made a movie that doesn't use sprites, you have the skills, you just need to use them.
