Reviews for "Storm the House 2"

amazing!!!!!

i loved it! ive just finished playing for ages and i had
32 days
100 gunmen
60 craftsmen
100 shilo workers
and ol glory
only one problem, ol glory sucked like hell!
400k? when u can buy a much better weapon for like 16k?
the mini gun needs to be more powerfull

Good game but..

That was a goodgame, better than the first, but when i got the final gun it wuddnt work WTF!! ,it just didnt fire as i thought it wud so i ended up losing, anyway apart from tht good game

Good but...

I really enjoyed this game. However, the one-shot weapons (Gravity and Grenade) are pretty useless. I thought the gunmen in the windows were very cool.
I wish that we could see the missile launchers missiles all the way, and not only the taking off and explosion.
Other than that, very entertaining game. Real satisfying!

Decent, few improvements could make all the diff.

I liked it. It started off painfully slow but picked up.

There were never really enough units on screen to consider it an actual slaughter. And by the 11th level tehre is no real point to play the game anymore.

And thats if you were just screwing around, spending money on pointless things.

I see you said you made it easier for some people to deal with, but screw em. NotPron is where its at. Ha.

Maybe a few improvements like...little more effects. Nothing serious, as it takes time to draw all things. But like being able to see your rockets fly and land somewhere, maybe seeing some of the gunamn you hired lining up on the wall, even firing from teh second and third story windows.

In the first one you said you were a sniper on a hill (or possibly an alien). But a defense game like this always does good with having a littel avatar representing you. Maybe sitting on top of the building or something. Seeing him mow down the incoming hords with the FN MAG would be nice.

The GE Minigun was a let down. It didnt fire nearly as fast as I thought. It shouldve gone through my thousand rounds in under a few seconds. And it does work. It just seems that people dont seem to understand that it has a wind up time. Which it shouldnt, but it does.

So yea, keep making defense games and always add more.

Four pounds of win in a 4 ounce packet...

Storm the House, the origional, was my very favorite flash game of them all. I have to say, with this second version, while unexpected, was somewhat dissapointing.

First of all, i saw no graphical improvements in the game -- No problem, I thought. If the gameplay is the same, it'll rock.

Then I noticed the ... sluggishness, if you will, of the game. It felt like my curser was moving sluggishly and the game had a lower FPS than the origional. That was deterring, but I kept on.

Then I noticed the limit put on how fast you could fire your gun. This flat out just annoyed me. Wheres, in the origional A wave comes at you, you can waste them as fast as you can click, and then reload.. not you have to actually carefully place your shots... this is not 2D Counterstrike. I want mind numbing button smashing fun! The pauses where very annoying.

The new guns are refreshing, but I was also expecting some new technoloy, maybe laser beam sattelite.. or... i don't know. something else new. Ah, back to the guns. I found that the shotgun was useless as it rarely hit what your aiming at, rather it hit everything but it -- pissed me off when theres only one grunt on the fence and you have to aim 3 shots AROUND him to hit him. the SMG was pretty much useless, and the dual pistols... well, I barely noticed a difference there. i didn't go any further -- It was pretty dissapointing. The origional, i made it over 100 days, never dying. I died on day 3 two times in a row do to encredible long reload times.... beh.

I'll stick with STH, the origional, until STH3 comes out. Hopefully you'll address some of the newly arrisen problems and reconsider reimplementing some of the older features.
