The Best defense game ever made? Possibly...
There are a few games that I would nominate for "Best Defense Game." "Xeno Tactic" is an incredibly challenging Tower Defense that requires the best strategies to beat. "Antbuster" is great because of it's originality and variety in defensive options. So what makes "Storm the House 2" good enough to be one of the greatest defense games ever?
Perfection. Perfection makes this game better than the rest. The animation is smooth, the controls are simple but effective, and you can choose your strategy for defense. Hire 100's of gunman, or have a fast-shooting Missile Silo do your work? Take out enemies in groups with the grenade launcher, or mow them down with the machine gun for a consistent spray of bullets?
Every aspect of this game is great. The style, the witty text, and even the pause screen show that the authors went the extra mile on this one. But what makes me give it a 9 and not a perfect 10?
The only flaw here is lack of originality. This idea has been done before many times. Of course, this is the best of them, but it just isn't new enough to warrant a 10. Another thing that really brings it back is the lack of a save button. I didn't bother to go past day 25. Most people don't want to play for over 4 straight hours to beat the game. It would really, really improve my enjoyment if there was an option to save your game.
Other than those two problems, this is an incredibly well-done game, and an addition to my favorites for sure.
Great game
I liked it, really. It provided challenge. I also played Storm the House 3, and that was an even better one. Still, this was a very good game. 5/5 and 9/10.

A backup weapon option would be nice, though. I like the stuff you can do to the pause screen, though.
