charming

what a refreshing little toon - everything from the whites being "castled" to the celebration with the clever twist at the end was very entertaining - you had excellent ideas, and made those ideas fun to watch. Your characterization of all the classic pieces was original, and very charming. I felt for the little (chipmunk? small fury cute thing?) archer... the flamenco guitarist on horse was my fav - all in all, a great movie that is funny and fun without having to resort to gimicks, puns or punchlines. A truely endearing romp.

Brilliant

Nicely done, loved the entire concept and the art style. But it was hard to figure out what some of the pieces were supposed to be and it seemed like you where making the black side out to be evil for some reason. Some of the moves where confusing towards the end but I could just be taking it to seriously. After all the pieces did seem to be taking on a life of their own as the game progressed, so why not break the rules. Altogether it was good

Geniusly Dark!!

A personal favourite of mine has been Sonia's Escape for a long time but this was also really good. All the stuff that happens can be translated into the real life game of chess. I loved the splintered visuals, wacky characters and the creepy soundtrack.

So good it hurts...
