This does seem a bit like Asteroids, but not really. I liked all the powerups.

My favorite game on Newgrounds! My only suggestion is to change the scoring, since you can get an unlimited score by leaving only those yellow guys on the screen. Every time they shoot you, you get 10 points, and you could leave your computer on for days if you want! So change it so you can get a max of 100 points or so from them to prevent people from cheating to get their high scores (which has clearly already happened). Other than that, great job!
Killer game!
One of the most playable games on NG, period. I loved the smooth animation and increasing difficulty - the only knock is that it needs different skill levels!
