Wow, so amazing..
I love the fact that Simple Line has become THE collab! It is so exclusive and you really have to be one of the best to be in it. I have been a big fan of the Simple Line series and therefore was so compelled to write a review. The thing I love so much about Simple Line is that everyone has such developed styles. This is the kind of collab that you wouldn't need name tags and I would still be able to tell who did what.
Totty: You have been such an inspiration for so long now. Even before you had anything on NG, I used to be awed by your conceptual artwork. Your part is no exception. It had jumpy exciting animation with contrasting colors very similar to your art style. You completely held up my expectations.
TFC: My long time favorite animator. But to be honest, I was a little dissapointed by this. Personally I don't think you've developed much from the last Simple Line. But I know, you're going to be like: "OMG, but I animated this thing last year so improved a lots!!!11one!" I don't know, I was just expecting a little bit more out of you. The animation style was the same old thing, the style reminded me a lot of Mask. But surprise me with your next submission :D!
BBQ: Your animation was kind of bland to be honest, but you definitely have the most developed style, like ever. I feel like you pioneered the elastic-like snap tweening style (if that makes sense). I was dissapointed though, the end i just felt like "that's it?"
Tox: Amazing as usual, your FBF skills can't be touched. At first, I couldn't recognize your part, but as soon as that line bursted into water, I was like: "Ohh.." Good Job!
ShawnHollern: Holy crap! That was so amazing. Your sense of anatomy just was so killer! Ugh.. makes me so jealous that you can do something like that. I thought the ending kinda sucked, but I'm pretty sure you realize that too.
Overall, this is definitely one of the best animated collabs on Newgrounds. Oh man.. there was something I was really dissapointed about though. When I saw the trailer, I got so excited that Gel was going to be in it, but he ended up only doing the credits? Geez, way to break a fans heart. Great job guys!
