Must I say, I am not one for writing reviews for the stuff I watch here, but this series overall merits a response.
Let me just begin by saying that this is the best work of amateur entertainment I've seen. You kept true to your dark theme in a perfectly refined way. While ROTMK went from a semi-dark theme to more of an action theme, you stuck to the dark, somewhat depressing theme. I praise that. I think it is a difficult thing, sticking with the original theme you established however long ago it has been.
And I absolutely loved the ending. Unexpected, but well worth the wait.
Now, I must apologize, as this next portion is pointed at some of the people who have already reviewed this.
Those of you who gave a low rating (5 or below) without real justification just have no idea what you're talking about. You, in the end, just have no taste. NOT EVERY STORY HAS A HAPPY ENDING. Go read Romeo & Juliet and save us a headache.
I must admit, I got a little bit of a giggle from one of the reviews I read, but it also helped make me realize that a lot of people probably didn't see the rest of the series before watching part V. It would make a lot more sense and would probably mean a lot more to you if you watch parts I-IV first. A little bit of advice: From now on, when you see something on the front page that says something along the lines of "Joe Shmoe: Part **, the Finale" go watch the rest of the series first before you write a review that says, "I didn't understand what was going on." You're coming in at the end of the story, of course you don't understand.
Finally, commenting on one review specifically, just because everyone dies doesn't make you an emo. If written well, death can be a better storyline than victory and happiness. That's the purpose of the darker theme: It allows a peek at the sadder side of the world.
And this piece of art is a writing masterpiece, when compared to some of the filth you low-raters undoubtably call "F*cking awsum!!"
(I spelled that wrong on purpose to further my point.)
To reiterate, NOT EVERY STORY HAS A HAPPY ENDING.
Thank you for the great story, I hope to see much more good work out of you someday.
