I. Love. This. I don't care if it isn't funny and it isn't like most NG submissions. Sorry, but I thought originality was a good thing. This shows a whole other side to the Mario games/series that not many people might have thought of. So great. Thanks so much for this. The whole series is in my favorites. ^_^
And, for the review below me: in the castles in the first game, in order to beat Bowser, you had to somehow get past him to the axe, which cut down the bridge, thus causing Bowser to fall into the lava and die. So, yeah. That's the deal with the axe.
