A Fantastic Series Meets a Bloody End
Each part of this quintologyhas been enthralling from start to finish, albeit the third episode lacked cohesion, yet it's emotional intergrity added more flesh to the plot. Part V, the finale, delivers what we've all been wanting to see, Bowser get crushed by blocks and submerged in molten rock. But then, there are the elements that make the ending feel disappointing. The Princess' demise marks a shocking turn of events, yet when the death of the protagonist hits in right at the end, we feel that the whole struggle to defeat the antagonist, Bowser/Koopa, was kind of pointless. This is definately a worthy series and rivals some of my own work as a director of real life independent filming.
The entire series is a thrillride from start to finish, in that it just goes downhill.

....that was a russian flash....
not to be racist, but a russian movie is a movie in where the protagonist goes through all this trouble, loses everything, and still dies. have you ever seen hero, or crouching tiger, hidden dragon? well, your flash was like that. great story, bad ending....ok, not bad as in it sucked, cuz you are EXTREMELY talented, but bad as in......why does the protagonist have to suffer so?!
