Dammit
This one was executed just as well as the first 4. I had forgotten about this until I saw this on the front page. This series takes me all the way back to college, "working" in the computer lab and watching all the great stuff Newgrounds had to offer.
But that ending...I don't know, it just left a bad taste in my mouth. It seemed better suited as an alternate ending or something. I dunno. The story was the only disappointing thing for me. The movie itself was awesome.

Thanks for finally making the conclusion to the Mario Brothers series. I really appreciate it. I really think that I could look at the ending to be happy in a way. Mario and everyone else maybe dead but, at least that they're in all in heaven. Not to mention the fact that Bowser is finally in Hell.
perfect mario story
everything is perfect...
the dramatic music, the story, the sprites are also very well used..
this one inspired me to watch the other episodes - its such a nice story...
Anti-Climactic
The entire series was done beautifully, the music was inspiring, the script was poetic but the story was so anit-climactic. Which makes me love it anymore. I'm one of those sickos that loves watching everyone, including the her, die.

there is no contest, you have completely re-written the mario story and spun it in a darker direction, yet made it captivating every second of the way. you are a genius and should animate more video games into series.
i honestly never had the slightest thought that the end would turn out like it did, i just stared at the computer for another 10 minutes after it was done
