I only rated violence a 4 because, well, it's mario, not gta. but it's great!
Darkest of all of them.
I wondered, the 1st time I saw the 1st episode, why the left side of the frame had a red glow emanating from it. Now I know that, all along, he was running from the magma that took away the Princess & everything else he knew, except for himself. I was shocked at the ending. No doubt, it is the darkest of a very dark series. Perfect end to a most tragic story. He won, but he lost at the same time. What are the odds of that? Ah, well, it doesn't matter. Excellent job, & we'll miss your sprite work, buddy.
Differently brilliant.
I didn't know anyone could pull off such beautiful work in 8 bits...I guess a 1UP is out of the question.
One problem, though. It was kind of slow moving. Besides that, I loved it! Great job!
