ANIMATION: I really loved the claymation work done on the faces, it turned out great. It reminded me of one of my favorite fighting animes as a child, Lucky Star. Now, onto the subject of anatomy. I've looked at the Vitruvian Man once, and I can say it was all spot on. 10/10. I will admit, though I am ashamed of it, I did masturbate to several of the fight scenes, though it may have been unintentional because I am prone to epilepsy. (I still enjoyed it)
CHARACTER DESIGN: All the stops were pulled on this one. The only problem I would have is that Dimir's beard was not emphasized enough. I think you should have done some zooming and panning around Dimir's beard and given a 360 degree view of his beard. Also, Xin's hair reminds me of my toilet's water color.
FIGHTING STYLES: I find that the fighting in Xin is possibly the most accurately portrayed in (dare I say it) any media ever created. "STRONG RUSHMORE!" is possibly one of the most notable of moves that is barely given attention in popular media. Like it's related move, "STRONG BONANZA!", it is a move that only true masters of the craft of punching can understand. Bravo. I also appreciate how you took into consideration the very effective art of jumping during fighting, which in reality, which this show stays very much in the realm of, gives the jumper a much more controlled, powerful center of gravity. However, this was not perfect. As seen in this Session, Dimir blocked all the attackers who were jumping at him. In real life, few men can hold back the jump. But maybe this was to show the raw power of Dimir, which I thought it conveyed very well. I was surprised to see Dimir not using his beard to fight, but I'll let it slip. I could go on forever about how the Bone Shredding, Double Punching, and Spin Punches were accurately represented, but I will leave you with this: 10/10 (Also, think Ghai could try out some of his moves on me? ;) )
CHARACTERS: Deeper than whale shit. I loved seeing their back stories, which I can, as one who grew up in a school that mandated corporal punishment, can relate to. Andre is a strong baseball who is also loner. Ghai is a MAJOR cutie and is a major cool, too. I love Xin's mysteriousness. Was he really a diva in a past life? That's what I took out of it. Anyway, bravo and another flawless 3/3.
ACTING: Though some voices were lacking, I genuinely appreciated the subtle nuances ever person brought. Sometimes when I'm alone at night, I curl up under my blanket and try to punch myself and make the same noises as they do. I'm not very good at it, but I'll get better.
IN CONCLUSION: I love XIN, and the ending only left me hungry for more. Please, give me some delicious Ghai so I can satiate my implacable hunger. I repeat, my e-mail address is goku999XX@yahoo.com.
