IT HAS A PLOT!!!
And one that's actually interesting!
Though, I have to admit... It was more the plot than the gameplay that got me playing this thing to the end. The hero's newly gained ability to actually *do* something beyond smacking peons (especially helpful against enemy archers, heh) was a nice touch, but that couldn't really help the fact that the game didn't really have any advanced strategic elements. Gold is lacking for about half a minute, before you thwack off some peons, and after that it's just clicky-whenever-a-soldier-dies. Granted, there are some funner parts (use your hero as a meatshield to hold off enemy hordes so your advanced units would concentrate on the boss), but they're sorta lacking.
Given the game mechanics' nature of "walk in a line and thwack things that stop you", I however doubt that anything better than what you did here could be done in this format, and so for that, I salute you.
If you want to make a strategy flash game, maybe you shouldn't try to make an RTS, but rather something turn-based? Or maybe a turn-based strategy with a real-time battle element? :3 These are just suggestions, I guess, and even if you do stuff that doesn't follow 'em, I do wish you the greatest luck in whatever endevour you undertake.
DW out.
P.S. The Prelate has elf ears! o.O What the meh?
