Reviews for "Prince of War"

Okay...

Basically, here is the deal. You made a hack and slash, but lacking some main hack and slash rules.

The hero needs to have some tpye of large, kick ass weapon or power, or have an abnormally long reach.

The hero can attack while running / have a running attack.

The hero can jump.

The hero has a special power that can occasionally be used.

The hero also has to be customizable. Usually with weapons, name, looks, thats all it takes.

Also, you tried to insert a troop system. It was small scale and sort of lame, being that everything attacks so slow, and you have to constantly replenish them.

Another problem: EVERYTHING ATTACKS SO SLOW! It's ridiculous. There is no combo, no nothing, just tapping space and moving.

positive changes

i liked the removal of the invisible wall, i liked the plot, but heres what i did not like. "theres an army of dragons! when clearly there is only one, there is not shame in having small armies but be prepared to admit it. "the elves are fighting alongside us!" where the fuck are they, why is it that there can't be troops we dont control, why not set up another cpu to help us out a lil, it cant be hard most of the programming is already done for you in your enemy AI. lastly, every single fucking level, was pushing through to the other side and killing peons! GET AN IMMAGINATION!

I truly enjoyed it

i beat it on the second try. fun times, intriguing story, cool characters. very good writing (10/10 on that). could have made it so it was less chasing down the peons and mores strategy, but ill admit it took me several tries on some of the harder bosses to figure out what worked, which is a sign of a well-thought out game. overall, good job.

Incredible.

As a long time fan of Battle for Gondor, I was extremely impressed by its 'sequel' per se. For a game that always looks like you'll give it up after the first couple of levels, I was hooked straight through until the end. Good job!

Awesome game!

A bit easy once you get the hang of it, but it was fun as well as addictive. I also really like the characters and the story in this game. It made the game that much better though I still can't believe that Pitt died. What a shame.
