Reviews for "Cemetary"

I agree with the other reviewers.

Add more stuff to the house, would make this game seriously more interesting.

Decent game

But now that I am become death, ~destroyer of worlds~, i should actually try spending more then 10 seconds.
(300% accuracy, barracaded door, wated, shot only once)

good modifacations on very old ideas, startws off really slow though

fun game

please note my comp has no speakers so i can't reveiw sound.

not bad game at all, after 2 min the zombies numbers practically triple but not a bad game. for the sequel i suggest you slow down the zombie number increase so that the numbers rise more fluidly.

GrimStudios responds:

i'm not going to bore you with all the math behind the spawn rate increase script I made, but in a nutshell, the "difficulty" starts at 200. A random number is picked every 1/30th of a second out of the difficulty number, right? if this number happens to be 7, then a zombie is spawned. Every 10 seconds, the difficulty increases by 5, and every minute, the difficulty is increased by 20. If it gets below 20, it is automatically set at 10 from then on... so you see, it's actually a very fluid approach.

Not bad at all

Could be made a bit bigger, hard to read the text, even on high detail. Cannot make out what it says when you shoot them in the head (Headshot! I'm assuming?).

Clicking to reload is a pain in the ass, especially when you reach about 2:30 or so and it's an endless wave. Just have a reload button set. It really won't make anything that much easier with the endless army you have set up to make the game damn near impossible get to 3m, more or less past that.

Accuracy calculation gets messed up if you shoot multiple zombies in one shot. Really, nothing can be over 100%, no matter how much you try.

what it does

1 shot fired
300%
~Destroyer of Worlds~

I played it a couple of times 'properly' before that.

+++ The vectors all look fairly sharp and well drawn.

--- The instructions' colour is terribly chosen. Minimal contrast between text and bg makes it hard to read.

++++ The shooting mechanics work fairly well. The hitboxes seem slightly generous, just as I'd hope, though the legs-off thing works well too and we do need to pay attention to hit the head.

++++ Also, the walking speed /crawling speed is well guaged.

-- Though you have the 2 folk, the fact that they can each do their action only once makes their presence seem really pointless.

---- No promise of variation to keep me playing. I'd love it if we had different levels, maybe with different enemy types... maybe the sun could start rising after a few levels...

++++ Difficulty pitch seems about right (I lasted around 2.5 minutes on 2nd go).

I enjoyed it for a while, but don't feel it offers much new.

It does what it does well, and if you wanna play a game involving shooting loadsa zombies, this is one of the best I've played.

Great job!
