Part 1
Someone directed me to your DeviantArt page, where one of your journal entries expressed some of your thoughts about this submission, and Newgrounds in general.
I'm not going to say you have no talent, or drop to a lower level and tell you to suck my dick, but I will point a few things out that contradict your DA speech.
1. Your movies are fine for Newgrounds. This is an entertainment site. Your movies 'fit the user demographic' quite well, actually - so that isn't a valid excuse from your end to validate your 'lower than expected' score. Take a look at the 'Top 50 Most Bookmarked Artists' list here on Newgrounds, JoJo - currently, you're still #1. Also notice the staggering gap in-between you and #2. It's obvious that there are still quite a few people who like you here - even more so than Adam Phillips, it would seem. So drop that nonsense and grip the reality of number two.
2. As far as I saw, the "negative" reviews for this movie aren't as devastating as you made them out to be. They seem more like honesty to me. People on NG can be dicks, agreed - but they aren't like your DA people...primarily consisting of chubby girls addicted to Cowboy Bebop, Zelda, and Pocky - struggling daily to draw the perfect anime character with their "How to Draw Manga" book written by an American, so they can post their shitty and lopsided sketches all over their personal page. DeviantArt is a dumping ground. Everything is accepted, everyone has a nice and polite smile - because everyone there thinks they're an artist and needs respect and praise in return. NG is an entertainment site. We cater to millions of people, who watch, tell you what they think, and leave. That honest, that simple. Flash production, much like the video game industry, is growing at a rate so rapid that the bar is raised almost daily for production values, artwork, animation, humor, and more. Your bar is roughly 4 years lower, on all aforementioned subjects. Which isn't necessarily bad, your movie still has a good score - which brings me to number three!
