visually, it just gets better and better...
but i did have one big problem this time, and unfortunately that was the music. while i don't have a problem with the quality or the actual song itself, i don't think it fits the movie. i know it's made specifically for it, and by someone who's work you admire and that's awesome...but it's not the same atmosphere i felt from the visuals. it has the right tempo, but the movie is bitey fleeing for his life in the middle of the night, not a mid-day run through the forest. i think that it sounded too fun and starts off too strong is the problem. the end credit music, while not as high quality or exactly what it should be either, was closer to what i would imagine if i were watching the movie without any sounds at all. if nothing else i think that the visuals and music might feel less seperated if you made it quieter and in the background underneath actual sound effects.
as for the visuals, just one small detail (and just a personal preference) but sometimes i felt like bitey was stretched too extremely when he leapt upward, making him lose his shape (even in his skull). apart from those things, however, your animating improves exponentially. the steam coming off of bitey at the end? awesome. little stuff like that shows just how much effort and thought you put into every movie you make, and it's appreciated
