This is what flash animation is about :D
This indeed is the prime of Flash animation and Flash animators. I have never seen such an epic amount of work put into a what I would call an "abused" art tool. Your traditional animation devotion has really rubbed off on your flash work and I was never quite so impressed with flash in my life!

This is a essentially a review overall on the all Brackenwood titles, but I only really talk about "The YuYu" 'cept here and there.

Graphics:
This is your main jump as an animator and your skills are astonashing. Particularly the water animation at the begining, Bitey's landscape rush scene and the blend of the music and animation at the finale. The tricks you seem to have pulled really work well when using very quick animation but it has done well for you. Although there were a few bits of the film that confused me, such as when Bitey falls down after making the first jump he seems to slow down and look choppy, and again when he makes the final jump up the hill I found it cofusing as to whether he was falling backwards or simply falling. Nether the less all of your brackenwood titles are the best animation I have seen of all flash animation.

Style:
Your style for animation is clever and uses a lot of quick movement that comes out magically. But your blend of the music and animation is very well done. your creatures really remind me of Diseny and they're children's storybook type of mosters. Take the YuYu for instance. They COULD have been frightning and dark but you give them a touch of innocence or making them seem just like a bunch of simple creatures out to survive (dispite the evil talkings in Littlefoot). Mabye I have grown tired of Diseny or just perfer darker things but I give you an (8) for style. (Yes I am aware Adam works/worked for Diseny)

Sound:
(On "The YuYu")
From the sounds of it (excuse the pun) you and James Walbourne should both be proud. You for James' work and adapting to it very well and James for your work and for using his work. The music was very nicely played and I aplaude James for playing three instruments. Otherwise, the music was the only sound really, other than the water and the end song. Bravo James and bravo Adam!
(Throughout the other titles):
The music was very theme suited for Brackenwood and didn't require much to give life to a charecter. Voices (although used here and ther) are not needed as shown here and this gives the world of Brackenwood another great feel to it.

Violence:
I am unsure whether to give this a good or bad rating as I still do not no if it is for "Yay lotsa violence" or "Boo too much violence"... I think it is suitable for the film and for all to see. Bitey himself might frighten softer children by his apearence but I do not think that is relevant in this catagory. I give it a (5), mainly because i do not no what to do with it sadly.

Interactivity:
The scence selection was nice and the links were helpful but I do not think interactivity is for films, and mainly for games.

Humor:
I loved the charecters through and through the series of Brakenwood and they all had life, humor and a certain touch of your own style of which brought them all to life in they're own little world. I would find it suitable to all viewers and well in the spirit of Diseny. Nothing, from
what I can see could be unsuitable to the young ones but still humorous to make the older ones smile. A lovely Diseny feel to it all.

All in all the tale of Brackenwood has been a marvolous journy
and had really inspired me to make my own flash (when I get around to it XD). I dare any person to watch and not be impressed by the animation, the charecters and/or the life of the story. There were actually times when I forgot I was watching a flash cartoon. I helplessly wait for the next title and hope it is as good as the last. This will definetly stand the test of time for net users and I wish you much luck in the future. Bravo Adam Phillips! Bravo indeed!

this is amazing
i have watched all ur flashes and been 2 ur website and seen all ur others and its all truly amazing work my fav was marauder from the 40 flashes in 40 days but i hav a suggestion 4 ur next flash maybe u could get bitey 2 eat sum magic mushrooms and start hallucinating seeing swirls and colours he is mezmorized by them following them then running from them when he thinks there attacking him and after a while he runs into a tree knocks him self out and wakes up the next morning with a hangover then a cocanut falls on his head.
This was unbelivable
Animation was unbelevable for flash. i dont know what it was about but i loved it. the goat man stops running and fights. that was a great part. wonderful work
