It's good the way it is. Besides, when and if ppl are watching the whole series from the beginning to the end, you'll understand why it started the way it did. And he did kick those dark goblins asses, good enough story for me when the graphic is this awesome.
It seems to be more of a music/speed/animation combination as you can see in movies, anime, cartoons etc. To give a good example, this flash is like one of those awesome trailers or fan-compiled game/music trailers/videos. So in an overall, this rocks! :3

ok well honestly for those who said this had no story probobly didnt watch littlefoot and if they did then they must forget things real fast.. i mean it was great.. it had good story, considering it picked up where littlefoot left off and the graphics and music were good... i gave this a 10
