Worth all the hype its gotten.
The more I watch this, the more I realize that it truly is deserving of all the praise its gotten. The graphics are far and away some of the best I've seen in any flash, and the music fits the movie perfectly. I don't believe there's much more I can say, other than good job.

The Scene Selection was an ingenious addition; scene selections and play bars are (or rather, SHOULD BE) the wave of the future for Flash movies. I am going to assume that you went with scene selection instead of a play bar because it may have compromised the movie somehow, like messing up the sound sychronization.
I hardly ever hear about an artist making their own sounds, much less one who goes out of his way to get a professional to record a track for it.
Are you a professional animator? If you are not, you could be. Your work is some of the best, if not THE best, I have ever seen on Newgrounds- no, anywhere, when it comes to the medium of Flash.
I would wish you good luck in the future but I do not think you need it, eh?

this is really the best animation i have EVER seen in my life, and not because of the story line or anything, but the graphics. it was just amazing. it so totally deserves the first place of all time. and it got a 5 from me
Some of the finest drawings I've ever seen
Every bit of art in here right down to the finest detail was extrodinary, the waterfall at the start all the way till the field at the end. You've created something simply amazing. The animation was so fluied no parts were choppy, and the camara moved as fast as the character which I think kept the sense of speed that the character was going.
I don't know why I hadn't watched this sooner but better late then never, but I just can't get over how good the art and animation was.
