Epic.
My top favorite for quite a while now, as well as your other Brackenwood movies being second, third, and fourth. The graphics were excellent, the sound was so great that I actually wanted to get it stuck in my head.
I gave it a 2 in violence because of Bitey gagging/choking/coughing after that fly flew into his mouth, the 2 in interactivity just for the buttons and such. I didn't find any part humorous, though. I think it's just me, because a number of other reviews found the fly part humorous.
Overall, this is one of the best (likely to be the best) flashes on newgrounds.
Oh yeah, just a tip, make sure you stay non-violent. I prefer non-extremely-violent flashes, as violence limits the age range, and narrows the audience. Unless the majority of people don't care about the age ratings, and just go ahead and watch the show...
It changed my perspective about flash movies.
I have to say, that from the moment a friend of mine recommended me: "man you gotta watch prowlies at the river, its in the tops" I understood that this was not a flash from an ordinary flash animator, but from someone with extraordinary skills in flash, someone that really put a lot of dedication and hard work in his productions (not saying you other animators don't do the same, but I think this is another level of dedication and hardwork to reach this "epicness")
There is just one thing I'd like to ask you if you read this review, how many years did it take you to reach the level of littlefoot and the yuyu? It's incredible how you make your stories so fantastic, I watched all of your works, haha it made a little sad to understand that our "hero" was just a badass b!tch when I started to get hooked to your work but hey, not all main characters need to be like the standard and you know what you do, they are just stories, and awesome ones.
I had this dream of making awesome flashmovies, stickmen movies, they were my favorites from a long time, I thought they could make the funniest flashes and the most fluid action scenes, but I've never had the "guts" to get into flash, I know nothing about making flash movies, but Im still young, if I worked on it maybe one day I would make flash movies like this one, everyone starts from scratch one day, thats the reason I asked you how many years are you into this, because I think to reach this level of quality, it takes some serious, serious dedication (even your weird characters are appealing :P) and of course some natural skill, everyone has a natural skill for something, some people are born for football, some for music, some for animators and so on (and some are born to annoy!).
Well man I really hope you can keep this... this thing you have here that caught us all :P and that you continue your work and get what you want from it, I hope you read this review because it's really honest, and I'm sorry if it turned out long, but your work really inspires me.
Best flash movie EVER!
Artwork is just breathtaking! Music is fantastic too. The mystical atmosphere is well represented in this original flash. My new favorite! :D
