This game is... incredible. It is absolutely incredible since the day it came out. I'm sure everyone that is familiar with Newgrounds, and the NG community... is familiar with this game. Pico is just awesome. When you're not wondering how much LSD you just dropped, you're probably wondering what in the holy mother of fuck you are actually playing. You obviously playing as Pico an Elementary(?) school student who has to stop the goth kids from spreading anarchy all throughout the building. It's amazing that the original game was made with Flash 3... and how much time has passed since that faithful day. Nowadays, people look at this, and see a piece-of-shit adventure game, that looked like it took twelve days to produce. But the fact is... this game was innovative for its time. The idea of going into a shooter-style game once you entered a boss battle, and the interactivity with the environment, like massacring Alucard after your battle, and sneaking in on that guy in the bathroom. All instant classic. THe art was pretty solid, even if it did look pretty lame... and the battle with Hanzou is just stupid. Eventually you're going to have to get hit by him, or else it's impossible to win. Otherwise the game was pretty easy, which I guess would be considered a fault... but, the latest addition of trophies will keep you wanting to come back for a bit longer. Why else isn't this game awesome? It's just so fun and creative that its sequel never saw the light of day, and its basic remake sucked worse than the original. This game just has an absolute charm that makes it absolutely incredible. You just can't go by a week without playing through at least once. This, and a whole lot more... is why Pico's School is one of the best action games on Newgrounds to date.
