Talk about a one-trick pony...
...Look, I'm all for anime satire, and despite being a fan of a show I don't let that affect my ratings. A good Yu-Gi-Oh! satire can be great but this is just crap. We get it, he likes cardmatches. Not a bad joke....the first time. But after pluggin the same old thing for about TEN FUCKING TIMES it gets not only predictable but just down right annoying. The fact that you have a hard time coming up with satire material about YUGIOH FOR GOD SAKES shows you have noooooooo comedic talent. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that the only reason people rip on Yu-Gi-Oh! is because making fun of "kiddy things" sells. You people are just posers who probably never even took the time to review the original manga. "Oh look at me! I'm ripping on Poke'mon! I'm ripping on One Piece! I'm ripping on (fill in any mildly successful anime that has been thrown through the slaughterhouse that is US censorship so that it is kid-friendly)! It's all comes down to one, tired out, crappy joke; insecure teenager ripping on children's interests. It's the same crap that spawned from "sesame street is for kids so we should make fun of it because we have pubs now so no one will suspect our homoerotic urges!". Look, you can make fun of children's shows and all, but at least do it with whit and class. Have yami yugi go out and get drunk and then Yugi himself resume control in the middle of some incredibly akward position. Hell that's a better premise for a Yu-Gi-Oh! satire right there; a flash where Yugi and Yami Yugi have a fight and proceed to try to get each other into the most humiliating situations possible. Look at how shows like Family Guy or Adult Swim make fun of children's shows; that's real comedy. Sticking silly voices on main characters and using "point-out-the-obvious" jokes just don't cut it with me or anyone who has half a brain.
