A Horrific game!
I must say, it has been the best one i played so far, both cruel, sad, and good at the same time!
Exmortis 2: The Perfect Sequel
At first I thought Ben Leffler would be pretty hard up to come up with a sequel to Exmortis that was as good or better than the first. I misunderestimated Ben Leffler. Exmortis 2 has a stunning story line that ties in perfectly with the first game, the sounds and images chilled my soul as I navigated the frightening settings of Exmortis 2. The fact there was a Sudoku game that tied in with the story line was an added bonus. Ich liebe diese Spiel: I love this game.
very nice
superb graphics and scary ;p
I'm very late with the review but I have to say...
...this is seriously better than the prequel, which was actually a bit creepier, but because of that fact, this one had a better "feeling". I think the things which made this game less scary than the previous one, are the things that told you that there is still hope. The scenery was lighter, there were less screaming (also a bit annoying) figures lurking around every corner, someone spoke to you, there were a total of three parts when the game as such was interrupted for some sort of minigame, which I liked very much. Without spoiling anything, I can say that the Sudoku game was not too easy but not too difficult as well, good job in creating that. The minigame in the "Red Realm" (like I prefer to call it) was a bit confusing but not too hard as well. The last one was definitely too easy, not much of a challenge here. And here is the problem! The last two minigames are too close to each other. If you add some minigames in the sequel, you should seperate them clearly with parts of exploring or cutscenes, like the ones of this game. Well, you can not call them cutscenes, they were more or less small conversations, however the voice acting was surprisingly pretty good. By the way, you created one or two times a situation when something popped out and scared the hell out of me. You did these things a bit more often in the last one, but with the fact given that you don't expect these things to happen, you brought me to a position when I thought "What the heck, you can't just come here and scare the shit outa me!" I loved these parts, as well as the second ending of the prequel, which was something like that.
I really wonder how the storyline continues, so exciting! Anyway, here is a little hint for the ones who thought, that the sequel to "Exmortis" would be creepier than this and then thought "Dude I won't play it!", remember my first statement: This game is not as scary as the last one, so give it a try...scary pants =)
