Why must part 2 never do part 1 justice?
Ok, so exmortis is remade.. part 2!! Pumped with better graphics, sounds, and it looks more professional -- almost like a movie. That was the problem this time, I predicted every part of it based on horror movies i've seen in the past. This game was like blair witch 1 to blair witch 2... The atmosphere of the game lacked a lot of the unknown that the first one had. The house was too bright -- not enough 'are u afraid of the dark' factor. When something did jump out at me, I wasn't phased.
sudoku was fun -- but simply a waste of 10 minutes
Long story short, this was more of an action movie as opposed to the horror movie you created in part 1 (which actually gave me the creeps at parts). i never felt in danger in this game like the last -- almost like i knew what was coming for me, i knew where to find it, and the house seemed much to friendly -- and the fact that you showed us 'monsters' so early in the game kinda took away from it
you still did a good job, but I think you've strayed from your overall goal that you started in part 1 -- let's get back to the silent hill and away from the 28 days later -- i'll still play your 3rd game, but #1 will be the best one of the series (kind of like matrix 1, 2, &3)
