Well shit!!!
I finally made it through the damn thing, and I'm dead?? WTF??? Oh well. I thought this one was pretty good. It definitely had more shit to find, and that asshole in the air duct scared the hell out of me! I'm gonna have to remember not to play this game when I'm home alone. I jumped clean out of my chair.The sound effects were great (as usual), and there was an abundance of gore and guts. Nice work! You should definitely find some way to make another one. They're addictive.
Simply "piss-your-pants" scary.
You are really the master at point-and-click adventure games. That was perfect...well, almost perfect.
Pros: Almost everything was perfect. The storyline truly was detailed beyond belief. The diary(in particular) sent a chill down my spine as a went further into it. The atmosphere truly set a mood that could make the manliest of men want to sleep with a nightlight. The graphic are truly some of the most advanced I've seen in awhile. Specifically the gore. And the action factor. Jesus. When you're outside the church and you have to figure out what to do, well, let's just say I couldn't sleep that night. And don't even get me started on the air duct.
Cons: There were some thing you could improve. One thing was the shooting mini-game. If you ask me, it felt somewhat...tacked on. The minions did look pretty funny though. Plus, I felt it could have been 1 or 2 levels longer. It would have been fun to go through one of the towns or cities destroyed by the Exmortis. Finally, the ending, though shocking, just didn't feel like enough of a reward(hopefully Exmortis3 will take care of that). It did scare the shit out of me though, you can be assured about that.
Though not perfect, this game is one of the best horror game out there on NG. The atmosphere, the gameplay, the graphics, everything was damn near flawless. Hopefully, you'll reach perfection with #3. Good luck and congrats on scaring me for life(I mean that in a good way). Great job.

Top-notch work.
This is a perfect example of how to use horror as a tool and not a sterotypical gore-fest. The graphics were definately up to par with the desired atomosphere, and the foley effects/soundtrack were right on the ball.
The violence/gore that was contained made it a suitably "adult" game, which is refreshing because I myself am sick and tired of "adult games" being defined as "HeNtAI KeEpY-UppY!!!111"
The action sequences could have used a bit more polishing up, they almost felt more like mini-games as opposed to actions to advance the plot. I know one of the rules to making a good story is to switch back and forth between verbose and simple descriptions/actions, but it detracted from the overall feeling of the game for me.
Excellent use of the "spooks" during the more tense moments of the game. I even expected some of them and they still made me jump back a little. People are a tad too keen on using too many of those in all the wrong places, but these were done with *class*.
I have to note at this point, however, that the Sodoku puzzle was almost needlessly cruel. I still solved it easily enough, but when you feel like you're on a timer, it's nerve-wracking for the wrong reasons.
Also as a last note, for such an orignal game, you should have *really* re-considered Vliev's(SP) appearence, I could tell that it was lifted from one of those deluxe demon/vampire costumes, and it made me lose touch with the horror of the moment... which was bad considering it was such a well-set scene.
All that said and done, I can't wait for the 3rd installment.

this game was fucking creepy! For everyone else who will play this game; dont fuckin play at night. The code to open the toolbox from the sudoku game is 8 3 1. The end was kinda stupid, especially how he kills u. And Vlaew was scary as hell. nd it was funny how he called gwen a whore =P
