Great game, one to show small children >:)
Fun game, and pretty scary looking at first glance. I kind of expected this series to have turned into one of those constant "shock-games" where faces continually blast the screen with loud screams, just to get the audience to pee their pants from suspense just a tiny bit ;)
I loved the original and I love the sequel, but the only real criticism I have for this game is the extreme difficulty for people who don't know what they are doing. This would be great if it were longer, and even better if difficult situations (such as trying to find that damned dagger for a solid half hour!) were made a teensy bit more clear.
Great job, confusing ending, overall great prospects for another installment to be introduced! But please, no more Sudoku. That craze is bad enough at the moment lol, no need for more of it.

**SPOILER ALERT**
DON'T READ ON IF YOU WANT TO FINISH THIS ON YOUR OWN
For those of you who are stuck, I'll put a little walkthrough in here for you. Apologies to Ben Leffler if you didn't want this, but after reading reviews, the constant thing I saw were people complaining that they were stuck. This is the only way I can see for your game to get decent reviews made by people who have played the game the whole way through. This should give you the reviews you deserve. Remember; I'm doing this for you!
Enter the church and go into the confessional. Listen to the bloke then walk out after he's done. Enter his side of the confessional and read the parchment. Go outside the church through the rear door to see the car and the approaching clouds. Grab the coathanger from on top of the car, then get the key in the drain. Click on the car to drive to the ranch
Enter the ranch and go upstairs. Go through the first door on the LEFT and grab the ZIPPO LIGHTER on the floor. Go back into the corridor and go into the second door on the LEFT. Go inside by clicking the board and get the KEY. Go back downstairs.
Go back to the downstairs corridor (door on the right from the house entrance) and enter the door on the right. This takes you to the room where the bloke is hanging from the rafters. Click on the paper on the table to get the Sudoku puzzle (sorry Ben, worst idea ever here lol). Solving this gives you the combination for the padlock on the toolbox in the closet (from the house entrance, next to the stairs). The combination is "831"
Go back to the corridor and go into the vent. Use the lighter. BOO! Head back out of the vent after the guy has talked, and go to the closet next to the staircase. Use the code to open the padlock, and get the screwdriver. Go back into the vent and click each of the screws to make the vent cover loose. Enter the next room.
Get the gun, remove the log blocking the door on the right. Go outside through the back door, and open up the cellar. Go inside. Get freaked out by the radio, and read the book on the stack to your left. Go back outside and go into the house.
Return to the upstairs corridor, and enter the first room on the RIGHT. Read the diary inside the cupboard (excellent story) and get the bible inside the drawer. Take the dagger and go back to the corridor. Go through the glowing door. Take the gun and pull the trigger. Hooray! Your dead! But its not over...
Once your in the spirit realm, you have puzzles to do. Randomly click until all beacons get rings around them. Do this a second time in the next area. Go through the portal. Yay, more gore!
Click the ammo box on the floor and go through the door. Prepare to shoot crap! Shoot the stuff that runs toward you until the guy comes into stabbing distance. Do what you do best and stab him in the back. Now that he's dead, follow the corridors (which are happily strewn with corpses) until you get to the doorway at the end with Mr. Mystery standing in it. Click on him and realise the truth of why you were chosen to be Earth's saviour.
