Wow... Good stuff. Really one of the best damn flash games I have ever played... You never really know what is going to happen... And damn the F.X were good... But I think it would be good to be able to shoot. (That is just my silent hill side kicking in, ignore it.)

damnit what a almost crappy ending, all that hard work just to...i wont spoil it for the others. well it was a really great game, loved every second of it. just my question is if i could kill the exmortis with a revolver. how come the UN and the U.S. army could kill them???
Without getting all OVER-EXPLAINY TYPE GUY on you, the Exmortis strength and invincibility came through their sheer numbers. The army could kill as many as possible - but they just kept on coming. Hence why you had to shut down the portal to stem the flow. Every time you kill one, they keep returning!
The Exmortis were never impervious to harm (as demonstrated via the various texts and newspaper clippings in the game).
There are further explanations I could have made within the game, but newgrounds required the game size be less than 5mb so a lot of sacrifices were made with regards to plot, quality of graphics and sounds... so I couldn't fit everything in.
The full quality version of the game came in at around 12mb in size... slightly overkill for a simple web game...

I really enjoyed playing this game. It didn't really feel like I was playing a game and more like reading a story or going through a movie. The story you came up with was amazing, although I never found the last page of the jornal. I thought the ending would be a let down but then came the twist, which I won't spoil but it was perfect. I like your writing style, it was sending chills down my spine when I was reading the journal. If you decide to make another one, i hope you can encorperate another story line or book of some sort because that was one of my favorite parts of the game, besides the ending.
