The minigun is the most effective gun. To get it, hold ZLT, or whatever it is written above. Great for when you start.
A tip for those who suck: Only take on one enemy at a time. Also, don't just charge towards your enemy firing like a redneck, or you'll end up looking like swiss cheese. jump out from behind a corner, fire a burst, then get back behind the cover of the wall. If the guy follows you, wait for him to reach your wall then blast the shit out of him. If he stays put, two or three volleys will convert him into a puddle of blood and mismatched limbs.
