Reviews for "Sonic X CC Trailer"

So-So.

Looks better then your last one, no doubt. Just a 3 things though...

1. Looks like you copyed alot of the starting animations for the action scenes. Please, dont do the whole " I didnt trace it, but im glad it looks like i did : ) Im flattered" thing. Some of those, if not traced, were definatley influenced/looked at from the Sonic X series. Specifically Sonic doing certain actions. The 2 robots and robotnik no doubt were. And no, im not gonna look for proof just to prove this statement.

2. Tails looked...weird.

3. Sonic X Style D: You should do the Sonic Adventure 2 style, looks much more "mature" then the sonic x style. Most of Sonic X's style looks pretty bad, especially when characters face front. Might just be my opinion, but i've seen a couple of people who agree.

Im not trying to be mean or anything, but it certainly looks like some of the animations were copyed. Maybe try and put your own thing on it instead of trying to make it look like Sonic X. Just my opinion :) Keep up the good work.

Nothing was traced, so you can get off your high horse thinking it was.

I dunno...

I used to love Sonic up until i was in the 5th grade. It stopped appealing to me that ALMOST EVERYTHING SUPERHERO in Japan becomes something w/ gold/blonde hair and blue/green eyes. I mean, sure Super Sayajin's from DBZ made that world wide, but what the fuck? It doesn't need to be repeated a million times.
Well, I guess Sonic IS for the kids and not us older teens. But the thing is, even kids get sick of repetitive themes. Your flash for the trailer is nice, but it's just not as cool anymore. I'm not saying that your flash sealed me away of my dreams, but I'm saying, Sonic just doesn't work anymore. Only a few people find him interesting through gameplay. Compare it to the old school versions where he's only limited to a certain extent, ask anybody. They loved those games. Ask them about after he started becoming golden and you've lost their interst in Sonic for a verrrrrry loong time.
I'm not trying to bash on your character, i'm just sayin'.

Nice movie crappy music...

What was that?
some kind of J-Metal-Techno-Gothic-Remix?
Or just Rythm-Funk n' Metal J-Hop ?
:-D lawl
I liked the first series and i'll like the second too... but i hope i don't have to like the new musik xD

I'm giving this a yay and a nay.

I'm gonna lay it down as upfront and honest as I can. I think it's amazing that you are doing THAT many frames by yourself. It's not an easy task to say the least, so I commend you. However, I see some HUGE flaws and mistakes that I highly recommend you go back and fix so the final product will be flawless.

For one, the art in most of your frames is great, but it ISN'T CONSISTANT! I can't stress just how visually offensive I find inconsistency is to me. Take your time and draw it right. There are several parts in which the characters appear deformed, and you shouldn't settle for that when you put this much work and time into something, period.

A lot of your animation is really smooth, and then some parts just break down. Try easing the animation more; don't just make it all the same speed. Also, don't hesitate to over exaggerate movement! It's really useful when you want to add emphasis or make something more dramatic. A lot of the animation is cut and dry, so try stirring things up and making it flow.

Last, but not least, DO NOT RUSH PRODUCTION! A lot of this seems rushed judging by the quality. It's an old and overused saying, but slow and steady wins the race, good sir. Clean this up and perfect it. You'll undoubtedly wreck shop on the Top 50 All Time submissions if you do.

The Art Style is Almost if Not Exactly the same as the New Sonic RPG Movie(s). But it's so Old!
