I remember watching this in my childhood, back when I first discovered Newgrounds all those years ago. I never watched Sonic X, so this was sort of my introduction to it with the Art-style and such. The music was what caught me. The way its animated I shouId saw influenced how I would draw for at least the next eight or so years. So, thanks mate.
I was really bummed out though when it never came out in 2006, but then again who wouldn't have?
I still come back to this animation to this very day, not just for the choice in music, but for the effort put into it. It was amazing seeing this stuff back in the day, and where animation has gone now.
It's too bad the trailer was more impressive than the actual animation, lol.
The Art Style is Almost if Not Exactly the same as the New Sonic RPG Movie(s). But it's so Old!
